Valley Creek Park
Located at 2482 Pioneer Rd., Valley Creek Park spans 82 acres and features a serene lake with fishing piers, a walking trail, and a playground with shaded areas. Sports facilities include baseball, football, and soccer fields. A large picnic pavilion with electrical outlets is available for gatherings. The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Clay Mathis Park
Situated at 2181 Clay Mathis Blvd., Clay Mathis Park is home to Mesquite’s first spray pad, the Spray Zone, which operates from May through September, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The park also offers a recently updated playground with a cushioned rubber surface for safety.
Paschall Park
Found at 1001 New Market Rd., Paschall Park features a pavilion that seats 72 guests, equipped with electricity and large grills. Amenities include a playground, restrooms, and 1.55 miles of trails. The pavilion is available for rent, with pricing varying for residents and non-residents.
Debusk Park
Located at 1005 N. Peachtree Rd., Debusk Park offers a pavilion seating 96 guests, with electricity and large grills. The park includes a playground, restrooms, and 1.44 miles of trails. Pavilion rental rates differ for residents and non-residents.
City Lake Park
At 200 Parkview St., City Lake Park provides a scenic setting with a lake, walking trails, and picnic areas. It’s an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoying nature.
